anon anon anon Could well do with some more special effects similar to Adobe Premier, but otherwise it's a neat little programme with little to be critical about - works well with no drama, big change. Reminds me of similar progs for the old 8/16 bit computers many years ago.

Yes there is a problem with the program. I tried to fix it throught the link on the e-mail but still it won't work.

Vista Incompatibility I have tried to install oRipa MSN Webcam Recorder, but it does not work under Vista Ultimate.It fails to create the recorder, and then the application's control appears, but does nothing - obviously because there is no recorder app for it to control.I have no idea if oRipa will correct thisproblem, but I hope so, as the previous version that I ran on my XP machine was pretty good.The best feature being that it is NOT a screen image recorder, but actually captures the streaming webcam data itself, meaning that recording can go on in the background ...

Decent first use, not enough trial time Decent results after I figured out how to get past the trial information screens. There was not enough time (60 seconds) in trial version to properly evaluate the software or explore it's features.I'm not sure that my anticipated amount of usage would justify the cost.It looks like a pretty cool toy though.

Problem. The memory consumption of this software is very high and my system becomes very slow and sometimes hangs up. I request you to see the memory consumption and try to use very less. So that we can use the system for other purpose also.

i uninstalled it becuase i was tired of the little box coming up in the middle iof everything when i used my webcam period, even if i didnt want to use the webcamamp

Not bad, but not for me The software was close to what I was looking for, but didn't quite hit the mark for me. Lots of nice effects and graphics to use though. I am a Vista user (Against my will!!!) and it seemed to install fine first attempt.

The interface was bad I messed around with this program for a short while, but the interface was done in 80's skate colors and was very confusing to figure out (if something had a slight glow, it meant it was on). I couldn't get the effects they had turn on automatically to shut off. I got discouraged very quickly and quit.

Too flashy The program was packed with features, but it was just way too flashy and hard to see. It should be more obvious when a certain feature is selected (all of the boxes are random colours and it's just all over the place). The features are great really but it's just too much I think... I'd like it simpled down a bit.

webcam amp review needs more features like a playlist for file serving and the ability to loop. Otherwise is a great products that works well and easy.

i love webcamamp ive been using webcamamp for about 2 months, i ended up purchasing it after a week or so of trying it out. it has made my webcamming experience alot more flexible and has alot of features. seems like every week new features are being added. i need to promote my website when im on cam, and i definitely am seeing more hits now. so it was definitely worth the money

I used the program before, but with windows XP. It was great back then. Now I have Vista and the buttons apear on the wrong places of the program (on top of each other). Also the program gives errors and then shuts down. It also can\'t find any soundcard drivers. Normally I can choose my driver and then choose stereo mix or microphone line in or something like that. NOW...nothing.Is this a problem with my pc or is it a common problem with Vista. I would like to know.Thx in advance.grtz Ruben

Wouldn`t work for me I did the trial of the software and it worked fine. I then purchased the software and cut and pasted the number into the registration so I could use it. It never accepted the number they gave me when I purchased it so I wasted the purchase price. I thought the trial was great and easy and was real happy with it. I just wished the performance would have worked after I purchased the softwared.

Can`t get a direct connection to the video. I do not need to capture my whole screen. Just the video on the cam.

it did not work at all.... it did not work at all...it created a 0MB movie file in the destination folder..i hv not idea wht was going wrong and i uninstalled it..i did not buy it, just downloaded and tried to use as a trial to see whether it works..and it dint work..if u hv a good working version for trial send me the link

oRipa OK Does not record incoming audio from person you are having webcam chat with. Records my audio and their video. Not much use for that. I will not purchase the product, so I have to rate the value as POOR.
